Letting Go

My grace is enough for you. When you are weak,

my power is made perfect in you

2 Corinthians 12:9

Have you every been working on a project and it is going so smoothly, you don't want anyone else to help you because you are afraid that they will screw it up. You don't want to give them the instruction sheet because you want to do it. You don't want to hand it over to them to do.

But then there are times, and I know we have all had them when you are working on something and nothing seems to be going right. You are frustrated with the project and you just want to throw it out the window.

Kind of like our lives. When we are in control of our life, we don't want to let go but when things are not going exactly how we want, giving control up to someone else comes easier.

It is never easy to let go of something. But when we let go and let God control our lives His grace will surprise even you. He will help us get through those difficult days by doing what God does best - being a guide and companion for us. He points us in the direction we need to go.

When we give our lives to God during those troubled times, He will do amazing things to us and when those times get better, we might not want to take control back. When we look toward God we are able to do more than we can ever imagine on our own.
